• AGL Gitlab instance had a an issue posted. Jan-Simon to think about what to with the Gitlab and whether we can disable issue creations or have an auto-closer that closes issues and points to Jira.
• Needlefish (and later) - KUKSA.val certificates expired April 7. Will extend Needlefish one year and 18 months for Octopus because we want to encourage people to move onto the latest AGL with YP LTS support. Could also add YP 4.0.9 to another Needlefish release.

  • Roger focused on the DBUS removal this week. Should be ready soon.

  • Scott running into issues building the KUKSA.val Databroker because it is Rust based and the Rust version in kirkstone is too old and there are too many dependencies (100s) to figure out a back port. Updating Rust in the kirkstone LTS is a no go for YP. Scott developed a “mix-in layer”. Need to discuss with RP about maintaining the mix-in layer if kirkstone goes beyond the initial two year LTS commitment. Scott and Denys will talk further within Yocto project as there is probably interest elsewhere in doing this.
